Foursquare Tips

  • Don't roll your eyes at yet another wild mushroom-truffle oil pizza; this one is different thanks to caciocavallo, an aged cow's milk cheese that adds a sharp note to the mix ($14).
  • The lovely 40-seat outdoor garden/Loop refuge that used to be Rhapsody is now home to this Italian-inspired restaurant. http://tmout.us/lKTEo
  • This Italian restaurant right next to the Symphony Center has a big, beautiful bar.
  • The tagliatelle is good, but not great. If you're in the mood for a hearty dish, go for the lasagna.
  • Very good lunches & not at all crowded on the weekends. Lovely outdoor garden.
  • Always a good place for lunch or dinner before a CSO concert
  • Check out the Restaurant Week menu!
  • The 1888 is baller
  • Excellent for pre-concert brunch or dinner; loved the linguini arrabbiata, but it's really rather mild
  • Branzino is a light dish, which has its seared surface adorned with Mediterranean flavors on a bed of kale. Can't go healthier than that! Go for the Nutella panini for a sweet, rather heavier finish.
  • Not so many pasta choices for an Italian restaurant, but good service overall
  • The very pretty restaurant inside Symphony Center offers a sophisticated Italian menu that's full of lighter options, in consideration of all the Chicago Symphony patrons it serves.
  • Such great food, good service, and an all around cute date place. The location is covenient and the menu items are reasonably priced !
  • Nice spin on Italian. Not just pasta and sauce.
  • Use the coat check. It's free and you only need to tip.
  • Pizza. Sunday brunch incredibly affordable
  • The real treat is that it's located in the same building as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, which makes it the 'pitch perfect' spot to have a pre or post-orchestra beverage of your choice.
  • The impressive thing about Tesori is that, really, the place barely has to try.
  • Wow. The best food I've had in my whole life. We just picked off the menu at random and it was phenomenal. A true gem. You will not be disappointed.
  • The pizzas are delicious!
