Foursquare Tips

  • Amazing new Japanese restaurant in the development where Turnmills once stood. Head to the downstairs bar for great craft beers, spirits and a cocktail with a vending machine cameo!
  • Japanese cuisine served in a very modern setting. Delicious cocktails and a sharing menu that makes for a potentially large, but delicious, lunch. (Esp. the salmon teriyaki bento and chicken rice pot)
  • Joshu Wagyu from Gunma prefecture in Japan was fantastic
  • Interesting chicken wing presentation with the meat minced in the skin with herbs.
  • Open tamaki (chirashi tacos), smoked octopus were our favorites. sake, shiso and wine list is distinctive.
  • This is definitely the place to try! Outstanding food experience. In my opinion it is better than some similar places in Mayfair. Ask waiter for food recommendations!
  • Seriously impressed with the balance of flavours and textures of each dish. Nice twist to Japanese in well designed surroundings.
  • Sashimi was pretty special.
  • Watching the chef cooking!!
  • Best Steak in London !
  • Sexy, sleek decor and wonderful Japanese food. Highlights: avocado and Asian pear salad; pork belly udon and the matcha Mille dessert. Loved it!
  • Get 6-8 plates to share for a group of 4. We had the wagyu beef, sashimi selection, octopus, aubergine... Everything was fabulous. Save room for dessert and get one of the two matcha cakes
  • Sehr gutes Essen! Man bestellt gemeinsam mehrere Gerichte und teilt die sich. Sehr lecker und authentisch. Aber nicht billig.
  • The pear and avocado salad is delicious.
  • Set lunch menu is great value
  • Bream sashimi, salmon Tomaki
  • Scallop and peas, tuna temaki, broccoli tempura, matcha kakigori
  • This place has a lot of style. Modern. Sleek. The Japanese fusion dishes were hit and miss: smoked octopus was delectable; marinated salmon was dull. Not all dishes are shareable.
  • Chicken rice pot
  • Amazingly good food, beautifully chilled atmosphere. James Atherton can't make a mistake.
