• Expensive but consistent and of quality. Mainly Japanese and other tourists. For this, cheaper options elsewhere - same as for Din Tai Fung. I followed Sugared & Spiced blog recommendations.

• Loved everything but the Buddha jump wall, tasted like muddy water. Entrance lady wasn't too friendly.. Waitress was meticulous, attentive. Not alot of smiles, but she kept things running smoothly :-)

• A pitstop for all returning Taiwanese and Asian tourists. You're paying for the ambience but the food is solid and varied--even good guabao and lumpia if you don't have time to hit the night mkts.

• Old school traditional Taiwanese cuisine. Expect great service along with high price tag. Overall ok but I wouldn't have been disappointed if I skipped this place on my trip. Best dish was the clams.
