  • 1964-built googie structure designed by Armet & Davis for the Prebles restaurant chain. It became the Salt Shaker in 1971, changed to Shakers in 1975. It still has much of the original 1970s interior.
  • Great diner! Love the coffee. Delish gravy on the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. Pie is a must!
  • Great food and great service. Love coming here.
  • The quiche is great but not the veggie one. Yuck quiche with corn.....
  • Try the "shakers huevos rancheros". Potatoes, two eggs, avocado, olives, salsa, cheddar, and sour cream. $8.25. It's delicous any time.
  • My first job, started as a host and in the last 15 years nothing has really changed. Good food, in a 70s style restaurant, try the zucchini bread!
  • Never go on a Friday evening! Took us 1 hour & 45 minutes just to get our food! Slow & limited staff...Not to mention forgetful waiter!
  • Denver Omelet w/ bacon instead of ham. They always give you lots of food and great service.
  • Just eat and enjoy, take a loaf of zucchini bread home as well, all is good here.
  • Their corn chowder is amazing. Also try the zucchuni bread! Good diner comfort food.
  • Great food and service!!!
  • The warm boysenberry pie is not too sweet, and you can taste the butter in the flaky crust!
  • Love this place! Try the Reuben :)
  • The coffee is the best!
