Tips

  • Off-menu item: the "Joby". If you're from philly you know it's pronounced "Jaah-be". Don't get me started... Anyway, it's iced coffee and cherry coke. Try it THEN decide if you love or hate it.
  • Rival Bros. was among the first in Philly to serve nitro coffee on draft the nitrogen creates a frothy, super-creamy mouthfeel without milk. The coffee shop also has classic cold-brew on tap.
  • Solid coffee. Limited food/pastry options. If you're looking for a small bite to eat with your coffee, I'd head a block down to Lutecia.
  • Get the Derringer. Like a Flat White but better.
  • Amazing oat milk lattes and the peanut butter and fig toast is delicious! Perfect cozy breakfast
  • The toast!
  • Great coffee and cool vibe
  • The only place in town that can do an unsweetened mocha! Some places do sugar free, but unsweetened means you get true mocha flavour and you can sweeten to taste!
  • Amazing coffee. Best in the city. Nitro cold brew is amazing
  • This place is the only coffee shop I know that does an unsweetened mocha. It's really great and perfect for someone that likes chocolate without all the sugar!
  • Best coffee in Philly. Paired with High Street on Market pastries, it really cant be beat. Owners are awesome guys too.
  • Great place for coffee and a breakfast snack!
  • Started off as a Drexel food truck. Best coffee I've ever had. Peanut butter toast is to die for.
  • Everything coffee, from pour overs to cortados, is amazing. The baristas are helpful and knowledgable, but this place is overrun with the laptop mafia pretty much all the time.
  • Best hot coffee in Philadelphia. Get a pourover.
  • Specialty coffee ala Chemex and Nitro Cold brew are the best at Rival Bros.
  • Nothing fancy but the coffee and espresso is good
  • The regular coffee here is definitely on the weaker side, however the cold brew on tap is innovative and a must try.
  • I have to add that this place is severely underrated. They are really a great shop.
  • Really nice coffee, reasonably priced
