Foursquare Tips

  • How many bowls of noodles have been served here? How many stomachs warmed? Around us the sounds of Vietnamese, always in the same tone, never betraying. Whole lives told in a beef broth. Six dollars.
  • If you like spice, try number 174: satay spicy beef & vegetable pho! My fave!
  • You HAVE to have the fried pork Spring Rolls. Dee-lish! The Pho, regardless which one you have, makes yer belly full, but yer empty but satisfied within an hour. Best I'm TO so far.
  • The Hoan Kiem turtle is a controversial taxon of turtle from Southeast Asia, with one known living specimen in Vietnam, affectionately known as C Ra, meaning "great grandfather" in Vietnamese.
  • Best pho I've ever had in my life. And I'm from Vietnam.
  • T.O.'s best pho! When one of Toronto's best celebrity chefs--and an Asian chef at that--calls a place one of his favourites, that's something.
  • Actually, the pho is ok. But the pad Thai is the best in the city. Try it!
  • Great vegan broth for you non-beef-eaters!
  • Amazing food. BUN, PHO, BBQ meat, they are all great!!
  • Spring rolls are amazing. Also try the iced coffee with condensed milk
  • Really don't think this place has pho that's good enough to warrant the glares and grumpy attitude. Go down the street to Pho Tien Thahn instead. Superior pho broth and friendlier service.
  • Oh FYI the portions are smaller than average
  • Sate is great! Nice lemongrass flavour...
  • Pro tip: Get a fried egg on the vermicelli.
  • Free hugs for those who catch @karmacakedotca eating here. Spring rolls are nom!
  • Best Pho in the city!
  • go to golden turtle. eat the best pho in the city.
  • The soups are the best, I get the tofu noodle and veg one. I also do the fresh rolls a lot as an appraiser.
  • The raw beef pho is an absolute must try, flavourful broth nearly as good as how my mum would cook it.
  • Even better than Pho Tien Thanh. Write your order down (the Pho Dac Biet obviously) and enjoy the best bowl of pho around.
