Foursquare Tips

  • Show up early on weekends. We came at 3:45 and were 2nd in line. Good thing they have wifi tho! Wifi PW: ramen672
  • Since opening last week, this ramen restaurant has taken SF by storm and is on our list of trending this week. Come by the heart of SF and see what people are talking about.
  • There are some unspoken rules here: You must order a ramen / noodle dish and there is nothing to-go.
  • Pricey pricey but delicious. Catch up with a friend that you haven't seen in a while during the 2 hour wait.
  • The pork is very tasty, but don't underestimate the vegan tantanmen..really flavorful broth~
  • Protip: order the vegan tantanmen ramen and add a slice of pork or duck chashu
  • Tori Paitan > shoyu > shio
  • The line is great
  • Best ramen I've had in SF, hands down (and I've been to 15+ spots in my search). Rivals Tsujita in LA which no other SF joint ha been able to shake a stick at imo.
  • The best ramen ever!
  • One of the best vegan ramens Ive had. If you like spicy, be sure to ask for it. Crunchy and nutty, balanced flavor, creamy soup base and thick firm yellow ramen noodles. line a bit long tho
  • vegan tantanmen great but VERY smoky
  • One of the best ramen in SF Bay. If you go there past 9:30, theres no wait. (Well, duh )
  • Had the wagyu ramen, it looks amazing but was just meh... the egg was cold on the inside, the broth was too salty even for ramen, and I prefer thinner, more chewable noodles (try Marufuku instead)
  • The broth is way too thick and the noodles are so thick it might as well be udon. Not worth the wait or even a 2nd visit
  • Wow. Ive tried the spicy paitan, spicy lamb, and matcha ramen. They were all great but the spicy paitan was the best. The noodles are perfect and put all other Bay Area ramen joints to shame.
  • Best ramen in SF (arguably)
  • Some of the best ramen in the city. Be prepared to wait in line.
  • The vegan ramen is really worth trying here - even if you're not vegan! The broth is delicious and really different than normal ramen.
  • If you line up around 4:30-4:40 you'll probably get in with the first batch of people. Both of the appetizers, oysters (generous amount) and mushrooms chips, are worth getting.
