Tips

  • Good food, but overrun by freelancers and students who order one drink and work for hours on their laptops, exhausting their free refills. Good luck getting a table if you actually want to have lunch.
  • Mad Hatter offers a diverse menu, with everything from cookies to breakfast burritos. It is also now available for Duke students through the Merchants on Points program.
  • A fave stop for the Race to the Ballot committee! Join us to defeat the Anti-LGBT Amendment on the May 8th primary ballot! www.racetotheballot.com, facebook.com/RaceToTheBallot, @RaceToTheBallot #r2b
  • Organic local bakery. Really everything is good so get what you want.
  • I could eat their fried goat cheese salad every day of my life. How do that keep it from melting? Just delicious!
  • The cream cheese brownies are both addictive and worth it!
  • The Thai chicken wrap is aaaaaaamaaaaaaaaaziiiiiiiing!
  • Rancheros all day.
  • Free wifi and delicious rancheros (in a shell not tortilla)
  • Get the breakfast burrito, it's amazing.
  • If you like peanut butter get the Thai Chicken Salad Wrap
  • The strawberry shortcake is wonderful. My face.
  • Lovely place to study (free wifi, well-lit). The oatmeal is delicious.
  • Breakfast burrito with sausage, or turkey sausage is just as good but is healthier.
  • Order a side of the Applewood bacon. Ask more it medium or crispy!
  • Go for the biscuit... It will not fail you
  • Warm Goat Cheese Salad w/ Grilled Chicken is the go-to
  • Get da cuban sandweech
  • Tried the Jamaican Me Crazy fruit smoothie made up of orange, banana and mango. It was very tasty and fresh. Great choice for a hot summer day.
