Foursquare Tips

  • Decent place if you are into Americanized Chinese food. Unfortunately I am not into Americanized Chinese food.
  • One of the few spots in Portland to score XLB (soup dumplings)! Their mapo tofu with pork belly is so damn good, bubbling hot, full frontal chili flavor, a perfect rainy day or winter dish.
  • Probably the best Chinese food in this quadrant.
  • Today I tried the Broccoli with Tofu curls. It was delicious. The curls had a great texture. I love that this menu has so many vegetarian and vegan options. Really a must try!
  • Go-tos: Potstickers, Wontons, Pork Belly Brussel Sprouts, Sesame Beef
  • So many vegan options! The Mongolian soy curls are A+. So are the vegan dumplings.
  • Pretty much everything I've tried is great. Green beans, brussel sprouts, cherry pork.
  • Stupid name for a restaurant, but actually really impressed with my pork belly mapo tofu! The flavor was great and the pork was so juicy.
  • Handmade noodles. Lemon Pepper Prawns. Wonton appetizer. All delicious!
  • Offers a variety of Chinese dishes. Food was tasty and service was good. Centrally located on NW 21st.
  • The Lamb Bao Bing was awesome (spicy, numbing, sweet, moist), as were the Brussels Sprouts (crunchy, tangy, porky)!!!
  • Great music, nice spot for some old school Chinese fare.
  • Wonton & Hot n Sour soup were very good. Hot Jasmine tea very tasty.
  • Does anyone find the name of this place offensive to Asians, esp for a city that is so politically correct?
  • Best Chinese-ish food in the neighborhood. Shareable plates. Cherry tofu and Kung Pow! beef were well seasoned. Ask to increase the heat level when ordering.
