Foursquare Tips

  • Must order the ribs!
  • I had the ribs since it appears that's what you're supposed to do. I also got a side of cucumber in garlic. I think I was expecting better food. Ribs were slightly greasy, cumin flavour bombs. S'ok.
  • The famous ribs was less spectacular than expected. Eggplant with minced meat was great and the fish with black bean and cayenne is amazing. Skip the pork rib soup with radish.
  • Spicy hot ribs!
  • Must try menu: ribs.
  • Haven't been here for a while, more foreign faces. Must order Hunan ribs and bullfrog hot pot
  • Hunan fried fish & ribs make this a worthwhile stop for any visitor to Shanghai. It's spicy, so be sure to get an ice cold beer.
  • Everyone loves the cumin ribs- I say get the cumin beef- much less work (and chance of getting cumin in your teeth)
  • Whatever you order, get a plate of ribs to go with it. You won't be disappointed.
  • Don't worry with the numbers of customers. They have plenty of seats inside.
  • Beef is great with nice sauce
  • Get the spare ribs
  • Trip is not complete without the ribs. Become more expensive really quickly. Order rice to help those who cant take the heat.
  • Cumin ribs, oh my god!!
  • Decent food, albeit slightly overrated.
  • Reliable hunan cuisine, ribs are definitely a highlight.
  • Cumin here, cumin there. If you aren't a big cumin lover, every dish is going to drive you nuts. Also, greasy vegetables. NOT impressed.
  • Yeah you can probably get better ribs, but they never disappoint and the atmosphere is great with a group. Mao's prawns and spiced aubergine as well.
  • Ribsssss <3
  • The cumin ribs! So good.
