  • Their omakase is on point, nigiri is probably one of the better ones in America. Especially at the $65 price point.
  • Very small spot next to Swans Market. Very few tables but liked sitting at the bar. It was amazing - so many little tasting plates but also ON the plate. Felt worth it. Duck egg extra but great
  • Chef's choice is great, best miso soup I've ever had, beautiful presentation all around.
  • Amazingly good value omakase with only a few tables so they can focus on the service. 8 courses of beautifully architected set pieces, each one a new taste experience. Reservations a must.
  • Omg! Presentations, textures and flavors! Unique, creative, beautiful.
  • Prefix menu mixes salads, veggies, and warm courses with the best sushi in Oakland.
  • Best value of omakase. If you are celebrating a special occasion, note on the online reservation, they may give you some small extra dessert at last.
  • East Bay Express recommends Miyazaki Beef and Salmon Sashimi
  • A unique Japanese tasting menu in the heart of Oakland. Not afraid to take risks and surprise you. Fish is flown in from Japan and fresh wasabi grown in Oregon shines.
  • Won't be back. Food is solid but we waited sooooooo long for food. Also portions were small so we weren't very satisfied at the end.
  • The quality, presentation and flavor are top notch and you cant beat the price...this meal would easily be 2x in SF.
  • Low key Japanese restaurant with a tasty no fuss omakase, (includes a piece of otoro!) Definitely will be coming back.
  • Yes its expensive but its worth it. Great service. Cozy atmosphere. Some of the best sushi in east bay.
