Tips

  • I've only had the tonkotsu so far, but it's dynamite. They also carry my favorite Japanese beer (Hitachino Nest)!
  • Best Ramen I've had in the states, on par to some I've had in Japan.
  • Best ramen in town. Please please please get the soy marinated egg added along with pork belly.
  • Everything on the menu is AMAZING!
  • Get the mazeman
  • You can order the tasty Mazemen ramen vegetarian (with tofu). BUT... they normally splash pork broth on this mostly brothless dish, so be sure to ask for veggie broth as well!
  • Lamb buns, homemade ginger ale, ramen, and those takoyaki hushpuppies!
  • A great place to grab some tasty bites or a hearty bowl of ramen. Very cool inside.
  • Ramen & Sake
  • The Ramen is amazing! Plus a great range of sake
  • Loved the atmosphere of the place. The ramen was very good!
  • Shoyu ramen is great, incorporates flavors of North Carolina (whole hog barbecue, mustard greens etc)
  • Noodles are on point but broth is pretty under seasoned. Takoyaki hush puppies had good flavor but were too dry.
  • The miso ramen is my go to. Also like the non-soup noodles
  • Amazing ramen! I had to make a special visit here when visiting the area again.
  • Great ramen, very unexpected! Try homemade ginger ale and get buns for an appetizer
  • The Shoyu and Tonkotsu ramen are delicious! Pass on the Zaru bowl though, unless looking for low key.
  • Ramen is great, really good homemade ginger ale too! Upstairs is nice for drinks
  • Atmosphere, staff and wallpaper at the hostess stand. Oh and the food is out of this world.
  • So delicious. Just what you need if you're homesick
