  • Wayyyy better than Vegetarian Dim Sum House. Better service. Better food. Better atmosphere. This is my go to dim sum place in NYC.
  • My wife, a devoted customer, worked with Kent, the owner, to develop a gluten-free menu. Try the GF Mixed Veg Meat w Basil in Taro Bowl! And ask for GF tamari, avail upon request, with GF dim sum.
  • Buddha Bodai: First time at a vegetarian/vegan restaurant and was amazed how good the food tasted.
  • A $6.95 lunch special will get you a soup or crispy spring roll followed by a main dish such as General Tso's (it's vegetarian, but actually tastes like chicken) or veggie lamb in garlic sauce.
  • Bbq meat is a must have. Im obsessed!
  • Vegan ice cream is amazing!!!
  • Best curry laksa I've ever had.
  • The best. Dim Sum til 3:30p, gluten free available/kosher/vegetarian. Watercress Dumplings, Bee Chi and Spinach Rice Roll, Fried Taro Custard or Turnip Cake, Sweet Tapioca or Coconut Dumplings.
  • i really like meat, but i enjoyed their fake meat. great veggie restaurant for a carnivore looking to branch out.
  • We could've sworn we were actually eating pork-filled dumplings when we came here. This vegetarian dim sum restaurant is totally legit, even to the meat lovers among us.
  • General Tso's is so good!
  • I wanna come here everyday. The texture of the veg. meat is so choice
  • The best faux meat around! Try the General Tso's chicken - my favorite!
  • Amazing vegetarian/kosher cuisine! Monks and Orhodox Jews under one roof! Gotta love it!
  • Must get "eel"- best item on menu
  • Veg meat rice roll - get it!!!
  • Looking to accommodate some vegetarians? Buddha Bodai serves up a tasty number of dishes, and does an excellent dim sum (pan fried turnip cake, BBQ "pork", and congee) as well.
  • The mushroom dumplings are great!
  • Vegetarian BBQ pork and black pepper chicken are great - coming from a meat eater.
  • Didn't like the pan fried veggie dumplings w/ their thick doughy skin. A thin crispy exterior might have complemented the mush inside better. Meh on two accounts. Wish they'd add scallion pancake!
