Tips
- Everything from the cuisine, to the music, to the kitchen layout create the ideal vibe for dinner with a group of friends. Found this place here: http://supper.mx/places/barlata-tapas-bar-austin/
- Great service, great food, good times!! Try the boquerones, they're amazing!
- Great food and drinks. Stop by and see Tory at the bar!
- Definitely my new favorite tapas place in town. Highly recommend.
- Skip the sangria. Grow up and drink real wine, like an adult.
- Try the sangria or the prima vino - they will not disappoint! ~ Your friends at HomeStyleAustin.com
- I love the food. The paella was delicious & the grilled lamb skewers with the cucumber salad. The beet salad & I drink the cava.
- One of the best ceviches I've had in Austin, and the paella was fantastic. All around wonderful meal.
- $5 plates at happy hour (calamari, chorizo, etc.)
- Try the paella! It was divine! For (semi) healthy tapas try the mushrooms, pine nuts, & currants... Tasty!
- Loved the oxtail tapa. Wasn't too impressed w/Gambas al ajillo nor the quail. Great date spot but you'll need 4-5 small plates to fill up so can get pricey.
- Crema catalana no porta llimona!!! La resta s excellent
- This place was amazing, we did all the tapas on the menu, you can't go wrong with any of them.
- Ceviche :)
- Get a bottle of the Sidra. Authentic Spanish cider. Tart and dry. Don't get it over ice.
- Get the mussels "en escabeche". Full of flavor and melt in your mouth!
- Gotta try the mushrooms! And Oxtail!
- Underwhelming food but food atmosphere...
- The black paella!!! GET 3 of those, its the best!
- Ask for sangria. It's on the secret menu.
