Tips

  • Watch out for the salsa. VERY hot!!!!
  • You had me at complimentary fish tostada w/ HOT HOT salsa & squeeze of COOL lime. Langostinos Estilo Nayarit & Crab (fed 3!)! DIP EVERYTHING YOU CAN IN THAT DELICIOUS SAUCE!!!
  • Youre probably already familiar with El Venenos practically perfect marlin ceviche, but the shrimp ceviche is even better.
  • Great place all around. Food and entertainment
  • You wont leave here hungry
  • Really good menu and options. Prices for some things are a bit steep. BYOB makes up for it :-)
  • Crab Nayarit style is awesome but thePrawns Nayarit style are even better.
  • try the special oysters on the half shell and stuffed pineapple.
  • Shrimp cocktail and agua chile is the way to if you don't like crab.
  • Order to share. This is a lot of food! And you can't go wrong with anything. The octopus was just delicious!
  • My 1st time here and so far the complimentary tostada is DELICIOUS!
  • Byob. You cant go wrong with the Langostino's Dinner.
  • Langostinos al estilo Nayarit is the best seafood dish in Chicago!
  • Come here for the awesome seafood- forget the service.
  • For self-induced crab fatality, order the Nayarit style crabs. $30 for a platter large enough to feed 2 people!
  • Wait down stairs , we have a table up stairs for you! We walk by 3 empty tables to go up stairs to wait again for a table.wait in the back please!we wait!!we patiently waited ....time to go!!!
  • Bring cold beer... it's a BYOD place
  • The crab with the Nayarit style sauce is excellent.
  • Terrible service and the cleanliness is questionable. It took over an hour to be seated when we were told 20-25 mins. The floor was covered with crumbs and cracker wrappers. Seafood was mediocre.
  • The food is way better than El Barco, and it's BYOB (there's a place called Garden Gourmet up the street). Also, Veneno will give you michelada or margarita setups if you ask
