Tips
- Nothing worth writing home about. Go to Madeo instead.
- This NY transplant serves well executed Italian-Amnerican classics in a charming, perfectly sized dining room in a part of Hollywood that might best be described as "the middle of nowhere."
- The most friendly, welcoming staff of all time. The meatballs were light and amazing, and the ravioli with pear was unlike anything I've ever had.
- A great place with food that is consistent!
- This impossible-to-get-into NYC institution feels super Tony Soprano, from the jukebox to the year-round Christmas lights. Plus, Italian-American fare like fusilli arrabbiata is pretty great, too.
- Meatballs. BOOM!
- Everything we had was delicious. The short ribs and cheesecake were my favorite
- Always gr8 but something was a little off with the sauce and it is not the same when Johnny Roast Beef is not there...
- Elevated red sauce Italian. Entrees are a bit spendy.
- Real New York style cheesecake at a New York institution (in LA)
- Very cool setting in unassuming location
- Sunday - Gravy night! Meatballs, Sausage, Braciole, rigatoni... Literally just like mom used to make.
- Don't be afraid to eat the balls. They're big and tasty.

- Veal parm superb!
