Tips

  • have a flight of the bold yet elegant red wines
  • I LOVE The Purple Cafe!! Lovely Delicious Wines, Column To The Ceiling!! Order A Sommelier Flight It's AWE-MAZING Wino HEAVEN!!
  • More than 80 wines are available by the glass many organized into four 2.5-ounce tastes. Has an eclectic menu that encourages sampling as well. Try something from the "Tasting Bar," available after 3.
  • The cavernous glass curtained Purple Cafe in downtown Seattle offers good dining for lunch or dinner. Upstairs in the bar and away from the bustling main floor, enjoy a salad and a glass of wine.
  • There is grape juice here served in wine glasses if you don't want alcohol!
  • Lobster Mac and Cheese. YUM!
  • It was the best crab/mushroom pasta EVEEERRR....
  • Absolutely the worst wine selection ever. The flights are absolute garbage. I'm never ordering wine here again. Wow! Horrible!
  • This is the best food you can imagine!!! Get the port cherries and the date tapas!!! Off the fing chain!!!
  • Downtown's newest hot spot delivers what the people want to eat.
  • Be prepared for the wait staff, they are pretentious and snooty.
  • The baked Brie and pumpkin waffles are incredibe
  • Get the Lobster Mac 'n' Cheese. Prepare to die from the awesomeness.
  • My two must haves: baked brie and sea salt caramels.
  • The lobster Mac & cheese is freaking insane. Don't worry about the 10,000 calories, just enjoy.
  • The Gorgonzola and Fig pizza is divine. With a glass of sweet red and you'll feel like you've indulged in a good way.
  • If you are here for the half price wine leave. They only put a few bottles on the special.
  • Lunch here is EXCELLENT. Not too spendy, and well worth it.
  • the baked brie is definitely the way to go. i also loved the gorgonzola and pear pizza with walnuts and caramelized onions.
  • Great wines (it's worth asking the sommelier over to suggest some), good food (for both vegans and meatatarians) and very good service.
