  • Star-Spangled Site: Militia gathered at this park, then called Hampstead Hill, in 1814 to defend Baltimore against an invading British army.
  • Take a walk to check out the pagoda and get a view of Russian Orthodox Church (like something out of Aladdin).
  • There are pick up soccer games in the afternoon at the annex almost daily as long as it is warm enough to play.
  • Park is peaceful early in the morning, get your head straight!!
  • Walk up to the Pagoda and fountain. It's my favorite spot in the park and has a great view of East Baltimore. In the summer you can go up in the Pagoda, it's a great view of all of Baltimore.
