Foursquare Tips

  • Last seen cooking in Patina, Tim Carey, Executive Chef of Papilles is part chef, part fisherman, and part Dodger fan.
  • This place rocks! Everything I try is more incredible than the last.
  • Hidden gem. Cheese plate after dinner
  • perfect place for cozy dinner with family. Also great for private events for 20-30 people.
  • The format is limited to prix fixe offerings. Expect occasional uni offerings, as well as more expensive main-course substitutions like a rib eye for two.
  • And there's parking!
  • Hidden Hollywood gem
  • cute and cozy
  • Nice bistro style French restaurant
  • Talk with Santos (owner) and get a strainer of delicious bread!
  • An amazing adventurous meal every time!
  • For a meal that balances French influence with California produce, try the three-course dinner. The menu evolves each week:
  • Tahitian squash velout? Balanced, vegetal, and lovely. Smoked tuna with caviar? Like sitting on the wrong side of a campfire. Sea bass, cooked perfectly, is elegant albeit a tad underseasoned.
  • The menu here changes weekly, but expect to find stuff like filet of trout w/ quinoa, beets, and nettle reduction.
