Foursquare Tips

  • The BEST of the best. Do the 24 course then make it the only thing you talk about every day after.
  • 18 course omakase is the most worth. Unique and best tasting experience I've had since the chefs not only pick the best fish, but also purposefully use certain ingredients that complement the fish.
  • The truffle potato chip is a classic. Trust the staff, they know their wines and sakes and wont oversell you.
  • There were some definite stand-outs during the omakase, but all in all, a little overpriced for the experience.
  • So yummy, just get omakase
  • Very creative sushi, with cooked and garnished nigiri pieces. Caramels at the end, wagyu, the foie piece. If you're a Shuko fan you'll dig it
  • Omakase is great.
  • Non-traditional, modern take on sushi w unexpected ingredients like fried oysters, foie gras, and razor clams. Get the 24 course omakase and don't forget the off-menu wine pairing!
  • Omakase for 18 or 24 courses. $$$$. Creative sushi. Faves: fingerling potato chip, Spanish toro wasabi oil, fried Kumamoto squid ink foam, foie gras & chocolate + aged sake.
  • A very thoughtfully planned omakase! Hard not to go for the 24 course, but we had a hard time finishing. 18 is likely just as great, especially if you don't mind not having more-exotic sashimi
  • Such fun Omakase menu. Awesome combinations and high quality
  • Getting the 24 courses menu is the way to go.
  • Fried Kumamoto Oyster Nigiri: Yep, thats a fried kumamoto oyster topped with yuzu kosho (a citrusy chili paste) aioli and squid ink bubbles.
  • Def a go-to if you love inventive sushi bar bites and small plates to share. Loved the truffle uni nigiri and the mochi donuts.
  • Still the most creative omakase I've found in NYC. Good alternative to the classicism of sushi nakazawa
  • The 24 course tasting menu is the only option. Everything is a feast for eyes and palate
  • What an amazing experience. From the crispy bacon squid, to soft scallops and salmon sashimi. Everything was beautiful aesthetically and taste-wise.
  • Everything
  • I loved the relaxed, modern and sophisticated atmosphere without the pretension that often comes with tasting menus of this high caliber. The 24 course Omakase is spectacular and service wonderful!
