Foursquare Tips

  • Go to Mooring. Order Lobster Fritters. Eat, repeat, look at the boats.
  • Go to the Mooring, order open-faced turkey. Delight in food coma.
  • Bag o' doughnuts!
  • The lobster croisant is amazing. Highly recommend and make sure to ask for a seat by the window!!! The water view is amazing.
  • Unbelievable shaved sirloin lobster slider, seriously the best!!!! A must try
  • The clam chowder is perfect and the ahi tuna appetizer is light and delicious. The big bar on the right is a great place to hang out with friendly bartenders and get some tips from the locals.
  • View outdoes the food - which is saying something because the clam chowder and sole are fantastic. Come here for the view, but definitely stay for food, cocktails and great service.
  • Bag of donuts = fritter perfection. Moorings painkiller is the best I've had north of the Soggy Dollar Bar. Wow.
  • Get the bag of doughnuts. Btw that is a perfect pour of a black and tan.
  • The seafood pie is phenomenal
  • Great meal.. yellow fin tuna cooked perfectly, home made gnocchi and great wait staff made for a wonderful dinner. Couldn't ask for a better birthday dinner for my wife
  • Crab cake, bag of doughnuts and the lobster croissant = one amazing meal and bring your fat boy pants because the portions quite sizeable.
  • Try the Quinoa-vegetable succotash (which is on the sides menu) with any app! Fantastic ;)
  • Good service, tasty kitchen
  • Try the "Award Winning" Scallop and Corn Chowder. Dip your Bag of Doughnuts.
  • It was a nice experience overall; however cioppino was not what I expected: no scallops, no vegetables... The view was very pretty as we were sitting by the window overlooking the water.
  • I could eat the Pork Belly appetizer for every meal.
  • Get the grand shellfish platter looking out on the harbour.
  • Great food and service. One of the only family friendly places on the Thames strip. Wine selection is fabulous. So go, get some wine & oysters doe yourself, and garlic mashed potatoes for the kids.
  • Lovely place. Especially the outdoor dining place! Nice service, nuce people! Enjoyed the sole francaise!
