Foursquare Tips

  • Order the Blessing Cocktail. Megu means blessing in Japanese. There's a huge ice sculpture of Buddha downstairs. Make sure you pour rose petals & water onto him with the wooden ladle & make a wish.
  • Try for Restaurant Week
  • Good variety during restaurant week, pick 3,
  • One of my favorite places. -Jacqueline Laurita, Real Housewives of NJ
  • The presentation of the oysters and sashimi sampler are unreal! Check them out.
  • Make sure to check out the mirrors in front of the bathrooms
  • Kobe beef...it will transport you to another planet!
  • More about the eye candy than the food, and it'll be the most expensive eye candy you've ever had. $135 for a sushi dinner for one, and I didn't even pig out.
  • Came at 7 on a Friday and it was pretty quiet. The salad with yellow tail is really good. They'll pour hot grape seed oil on it to sear it in front of you right before you devour it!
  • Must have/try sushi or sashimi: wagyu beef & Foie gras, Hamachi, O Toro Tuna, Medai, Scallops, Uni.
  • Beyond our expectations!!!! Superb service! Great food and Drinks!!! A must repeat!!!
  • Great time :)
  • Very SATC!
  • Beautiful Place!Best food in New york!Love It!
  • Megu is beautiful, the bar upstairs is great, the atmosphere amazing
  • Good ambiance, so enjoy with good company.
  • If you come to Megu, you must try the Kobe Beef "Kagero" Style. Even if you are not a beef lover this dish will change your mind. The flavor is very simple: pure butter. Cooked table side for you.
  • Kobe beef...loved it! The Blessing is a powerful little cocktail too. Restaurant week favorite :)
  • do not go here. awful service, decent food--if you insist on eating here get the kobe beef otherwise fuck it and go up the street to nobu downtown DONE
