Tips
- A hole in the wall Malay joint. Cheaper and better tasting than Sentosa.
- The most authentic Malaysian cuisine you'll ever get in New York. Beats Sentosa & Curry Leaf anytime.
- clams chow kuey teow
- Authentic Malaysian food. Roti Canai is great and nood soups, too!
- Asem laksa
- Malay Restaurant is a great spicy food Malaysian place that's open late, until 11pm. The Chicken Satay is better than the Beef Satay. The Roti Canai is small, but great. They take credit cards.
- Can't find a more authentic Malaysian restaurant in town. Favorite dishes are the hainanese chicken rice and curry based dishes
- The shrimp noodle soup is the best! So flavorful and goood!!
- Silver needle noodles w/bits of cha siew (pork) are soo good!!
- Highly recommend the chicken or beef satay
- must order these items! Watercress with squid, fried taro, roti canai, hainanese chicken, grilled fish, and bone soup. They are so so good! ~,,,,, ~!!
- The food is pretty good and inexpensive. But the service is pretty slow.
- The Satay guy is amazeballs
- fried taro with stuffing inside is really amazing here!
- get the grilled fish, u can eat the whole thing including the bones! Squid with veggies is awesome too, order the oily rice to go w/them
- My favorite is the beef or chicken Satay and the Hainan chicken with rice!
- Fried pearl noodles, skate, simply great
- Malaysia cheong fun all the way!
- Brian lee told me " curry fish head is off the chains!!!"
