  • Stop over at this industrial barn-steezed "roadhouse" for a plate of "Grandma Mable's" secret recipe Pulled Pork and wash it down with the hard-to-find OG Beer, Coors Original Banquet.
  • Not our favorite barbecue in the neighborhood, but mostly solid; sandwiches like the chopped brisket are tasty highlights.
  • The brisket is haunting my dreams.
  • Recommended: Brisket, vegetarian sloppy Joe, potato salad, stewed corn, borracho beans, peanut butter pie.
  • Try the lush beef brisket, which spends up to 14 hours in the smoker before it hits the table; leaner cuts are sliced for platters ($15), while the fattier meat gets chopped up for sandwiches ($10).
  • Beef brisket (extra sauce), Mac n Cheese, corn off the cobb, potato salad. This is how you do it.
  • Everytime I go back here they five me less meat than the previous time. Crap.
  • As one who knows BBQ after six years in Memphis, I'll say this is VERY tasty. Pulled pork Sammy was...amaze.
  • Mable's Smokehouse & Banquet Hall (& 50+ other eateries) will be sampling their fare at our 2013 Choice Eats tasting event on 3/19 - can't wait!
  • If you order a platter, you get two sides. There's no rule that says they both can't be Mac N Cheese
  • Try the frito pie
  • Prime location next to Whiskey Brooklyn. Would give it a B+ for BBQ, but still behind Fette Sau and Mighty Quinns. Bigger and better beers though.
  • The ribs are to die for, pulled pork is amazing and even the side dishes are awesome -- also, good selection of beers!
  • Not as good as Fette Sau but they have good pulled pork and brisket! Their brunch menu is small but very delicious!
  • Good brisket! ... Do NOT get the corn bread.
  • Their baked beans and Mac n cheese
  • Brisket was excellent. Strong flavor. Bbq beans also great. Good price & friendly service.
  • Mable's sponsors the Brooklyn Bombshells of Gotham Girls Roller Derby!!
  • Brisket sandwich is the way to go with a good beer.
