  • The citys oldest temple is always crowded, with chanting en masse morning and afternoon. Nearby night market has great food. Green Guide Editor
  • A really cool temple and anyone one can go in even if you don't believe in it

  • Big temple, really nice to visit. Take MRT (blue line) to Longshan Temple and then follow signs. It's more of a touristy place than a comercial zone.
  • 115On 1st and 15th day every month in old calendar, you can see the central gate opened.
  • I was fortunate enoughto visit them during their festive season and witness the parade of Gods. Do check the schedule online and try visiting during those days. The parade happens late evenings.
  • The busiest times here are 9 to 5 on weekdays. The sight of devotion is truly mesmerising!!!
  • Great architecture and perhaps the most prominent temple in the whole of Taiwan. Worth paying a visit as it is so close to Huaxi Street Night Market.
  • Please be wise when taking pictures during the day. Many people come to take a pray.
  • Interesting place in the center of the city. The history is worth a read and so is a stroll around the surrounding neighborhood.
  • Relatively small temple complex a few steps away from Longshan metro station that unveils some of Tapei's history. Recommended visit.
  • Best known temple in Taipei? Very easy to get there (MRT Longshan). The afternoon reciting of Buddhist sutras gives me goosebumps. (Read Travel in Taiwan magazine to learn more about Taiwan)
  • A bit crowded but absolutely worth a visit. Either day or night
