  • This bakery bar offers a variety of German breads, pastries, and pretzels, plus an awesome list of German beers. We love the apple strudel and often come here for it post-dinner.
  • For breakfast or lunch, the breads are exemplary, especially the double-crusted rye and cheese-pretzel pockets. If you come at night, try the buttered and pan-fried schnitzel served on kaiser rolls.
  • The bakery specializes in artisan German bread, each delicious and requiring many splashes of butter. The pastries are also a highlight the Berliners and Linzer cakes are particularly comforting.
  • Cambozola Sandwhich is fantastic.
  • A little overpriced for the size of beers but they do German food right! The mustard is so spicy...and I dig it.
  • Try the sweet 'n tart, yet moist, rhubarb coffee cake. It's a generous portion too! w/ its perfect ratio of cake:streusel...
  • Good bread
  • Warm Apple Strudel - my kids love it!!
  • Blackforrest Ham Sandwich - simply fantastic!!
  • Pretty crappy service.
  • They don't have the pretzel recipe quite right. Wait to buy one until they've perfected it!
  • Closed :-/
  • Bench seat hidden away upstairs is a great spot to get cozy.
  • German pretzels
  • Great pretzels and Berliners. Decent latte. A lovely place to have a snack and relax in the Village.
  • The bretzelbrtchen and semmeln are authentic and delicious... And half off after 7pm! Which hopefully guarantees a child-free environment.
  • Good shnitzel, and they've got that Six Point Crisp (the german-style one) on tap to compliment. Delicious!
  • David, who is one of the owners, simply was amazing. It's a great German bakery during the daytime that turns into a bar at night. The best part about the place: German beer that tells a story.
  • Yum, 6 kinds of Pretzels, apple strudel and sour rhubarb with sour cream topping. Wish I had time for schnitzel. Save something for next time!
  • Dreadful service stupid people Rude
