Tips

  • After a great show or a flop, get the meatloaf!
  • A solid option for a quick, no-fuss pre-theater dinner.
  • Such a great pre- show experience! We all really loved our meals. Certainly worth the $$ and the trek
  • The best banana cream pie ever!!! :)
  • If you don't get a martini you've made a huge mistake.
  • Try the Burger, Jesse style. Mustard with bp on top bun, then lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup on both sides of burger, ff's on bottom bun. YUMM-O.
  • Great Burger in theater district.
  • amazing nyc-old-style place! Meatloaf was sooo good! Vibe and service were excellent as well. Will back soon for burger.
  • Cool place to see posters of failed Broadway shows. They had a couple of New York State ciders too.
  • Great atmosphere and food, well worth a trip to chill with a beer and a snack
  • Classic NYC pre-theater restaurant. Get martinis and the burger.
  • Classic New York. This place has been around for ages and to a certain older clientele this place is a landmark. I think of this it now as cool without being trendy. A+ burgers, martinis, and service.
  • This mainstay has been feeding Broadway-goers, stars, and stagehands for decades. Grab a seat at the bar, order a strong Manhattan or martini, and watch the end of the game on the flatscreen.
  • Amazing atmosphere, this place is like time travel. Get a Long Island Iced Tea!!!
  • Nice American restaurant in midtown. Worth checking out. The menu is small but they do the food justice.
  • Great Food, ambiance, and an old time NYC type soon.
  • Make a reservation, it gets packed before 8pm. House red wine, their soup of the day (split pea) was great. Desserts looked amazing but we didn't have time to have one!
  • Classic New York spot. Just as thrilled on the 2nd visit as the 1st. Can't go wrong with the pork chop with plum sauce or the burger. Order a bottle of champagne because life is wonderful.
  • Burgers are a MUST. People watching, (especially with the late crowd after shows) is to die for.
  • Nice ambience, food, friendly staff - just don't ask them to split a check into more than 3 parts
