Foursquare Tips

  • This unadorned shack south of Daytona Beach has long attracted locals for seafood, alligator and rock shrimp. Seating is outdoors on the Indian River, where you can watch dolphins and manatees.
  • Eat on the water and drink draft by the pitcher
  • Sunset on the deck...
  • Captain John A. Bollman, is a passionate crabber, a fact evident in the snowy crab cakes and a crabulous sandwich, which is nothing more than cool, fresh crabmeat, mayo, and a jot of spice.
  • Loved this place. Fresh seafood and big portions... friendly service.
  • You can rent kayaks or paddle boats for 1 hour, 4 hours or more. Manatees can be seen although we didn't see any. Font feed them give them water or chase them.
  • JBs fish sandwich is great, so are the rock shrimp.
  • Get a seat at the outside bar, ask Job the bartender to get you a drink.... Order the tuna tips with fresh veggie platter.... Good food great service!!!
  • We also tried the coconut shrimp. It was alright. I unbreaded one before eating though and they do not remove the poop "vein." that's a big turn off for me.
  • Blackened grouper sandwich! Yum!
  • The jumbo soft-shell crab sandwich is excellent, oyster are local but r shuck-your-own
  • Spiced Steamed Shrimp is fantastic. Great crab cakes, hush puppies...
  • Get the turtle mound seafood platter... It's an incredible experience!!! Your tongue will thank you later... We had Adam as a server, he was great!!!
  • This place is awesome! Great music, cold beers and perfect Ambiance for a day by the water.
  • Best spot around!
  • A Florida Classic. Southern-style seafood, gators, oysters, and hush puppies are the hits. Go at sunset and enjoy the view over Mosquito Lagoon.
  • Crab & my happy place :-)
  • Service was severely lacking.
  • Had a really good time kayaking and saw some dolphins unfortunately I don't have any pictures I didn't want to ruin my phone
  • Rock Shrimp Cakes when they have them... Ask for them! Rent a Standup Paddle Board through them for East Coast Paddle! Or arrange a tour with ECP!
