Tips

  • Dont take the chair without a balaclava, or your nose will fall off.
  • Lots of things to jump off and you gotta ski trees all day when you hit up Jay
  • New England skiing makes for icy, crusty snow. Compared to Colorado mountains, Jay is great but again, icy. Dress warmly!
  • Pump house waterpark is awesome for all ages. Buy discounted tix in advance on liftopia.com
  • Best glades in the East
  • Take the Tram for views from the top, super-expert terrain off the summit, to stay warm and just because its cool; but the Green Mountain Flier usually offers quicker access to all but the summit.
  • Take the Tram!
  • Wicked glades and tons of powder. Stick to the glades that is where the action is.
  • Don't be a sucka
  • Don't get stuck in the powder! If you do just nap it out
  • An average annual snowfall of 379 in makes true backcountry riding possible, and it will only take one run bombing through the trees to see why it's far superior to carving S's among the masses.
  • Specials on lift tickets if your a season pass holder from another mountain, or a vermont resident!
  • Watch out for Dr. Lawrence Ronald Centerstein at the Tower Bar.
  • Take the team to the top and then hit the glades off the back side. Epic conditions right now.
  • Dress warm below zero here today
  • Likely to have the best snow in Vermont and some amazing glades to make use of it.
  • For a great relaxing trail through some trees, Kokomo is the way to go
  • Ride the tram all day with your homies, jam out to music, rip the face and have some fun in the trees. Nick Vogt (Snowboard Team Rider)
  • On AT&T? You're close enough to the Canadian border to get a stronger signal from ROGERS instead of AT&T. Make sure you have roaming turned off, otherwise data is a whopping $15.36/MB.
  • Good riding, but some of the slowest lifts I've even encountered for a mountain of this level. And don't even get me started on the tram. 30-45min lines, very slow, and the only way to reach the peak.
