  • Here on a Monday? Get the lamb burgera half-pound puck, dusted in cumin, seared in a cast-iron pan, anointed with warm goat cheese & cipollini onions. Its one of our #100best dishes & drinks of 2011
  • Staff Pick! Danny (Curatorial): Great for a date before First Saturdays, but best on Monday night's Burger Night ($20 dollar taste for $7 dollars...take that Wendy's value meal).
  • Great lamb burger
  • Monday night burger night is serious business
  • For a perfect 1-2 punch, have the pork belly appetizer and the skate entree. Both are amazing and make you forget about the slightly too cool for school attitude from the staff.
  • Staff Pick! Caroline (Design): The kind of place where someone might propose marriage or where you may meet the in-laws. Nice if you have time, $$, a hot date..
  • Skip the brunch wait at Rosewater and come here instead. Blueberry pancakes, kale salad, and duck sausage are all great.
  • Be prepared to wait... Slow service. Go when you are ready to take it VERY easy
  • Staff Tip: Burger Night! Love happy hour at James? Wish it was all night? Well now it is. Mondays: $13Classic Burgers, Lamb Burgers, and Pork Sliders all night long at any table. Your welcome.
  • romantic spot
  • Serious Park Slope vibes at this place
  • Incredible food and drinks - everything we saw looked great. We did brunch Bloody Mary's, the shrimp w/ polenta, and the pork belly artichoke hash. SO good.
  • Get the Pork belly & artichoke hash, with duck sausage side order. Delicious.
  • Corner table in the front window. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes w/side of Duck sausage and a French 75 w/ St Germaine. Oh yeah!
  • CIA Alum and owner of James, Bryan Calvert named his restaurant after his grandfather who was also a chef. The love of food truly runs in this family tree.
  • f you are in Park Slope/Prospect Heights, this is the spot. Modern unpretentious well edited menu. Intimate and decorated to perfection. - Brice Pattison
  • Fresh, delicious oysters, served with bloody mary cocktail sauce.
  • $25 prix fixe on Sundays.
  • Lavender creme brle is a yes. Subtle, but lavender-y on the first bite. Yum!
  • If you're here for brunch, do yourself a favor: get the steak and eggs. Unless you hate Awesome. I could also recommend whetting the appetite with a Bloody Maria with jalapeo infused tequila. Do it.
