Tips

  • Walk the beach early. The breeze and fresh air will make it worthwhile
  • Don't make you fire too large or with stinky wood. It blows inland and covers our house with ashes and smells bad. Thank you.
  • Go to the entrance off of Magnolia and PCH. It's less crowded
  • Cover ur beer up :)
  • Watch the surfing competition!
  • Park closes at 10pm. Come around 8:30 to 9pm if you want bonfire during weekend; otherwise you will need to come around 8am.
  • Wow! $15 a carload to get in...
  • If you park in the residential streets up magnolia or brookhurst you can beat the $15 parking fee. Same thing goes for north of main st... Park on the numbered streets and you don't have to pay
  • the bike rental shops along the beach will let you put air in your bike tires for free.
  • It will cost you $15 to park here, for EACH state beach you go to is $15. :( Booooooooooooooooooo. Look closely and you can see dolphins and seals come really close to you. :) LIKE
  • Come eaaaarly if u want a pit!
  • Delightful beach with plenty of fire pits. Get there early if you want one for a bonfire in the evening.
  • Nasty bathrooms. :(
  • Please flush the toilet AND your toilet paper after use. The world is not yours to crap all over.
  • Go to 7-11 and get big gulp cups filled with ice then pore your beer in there :)
  • Bicycle in, straight through from the Santa Ana River bike path, and avoid the parking fees.
  • Bonfires on the beach!
  • $15 to park
  • Big waves. Soft beach. Nice temperatures. Its ok. Not a fan of the prices.
  • ffentliche Toiletten sind wohl nirgendwo ein Traum, aber immerhin gibt es am Strand alles, was man so braucht
