Foursquare Tips

  • Try the beer
  • Umbrella jazz on Sunday nights. Do it!
  • Any place that has a signed photo of Jan Terri behind the bar is cool by me.
  • Unassuming.
  • Not a classic Chicago dive but a good new school dive
  • A chill dive bar with cheap drinks. If there's not a live show on, pick your own music from an awesome jukebox.
  • The Hungry Brain is on Chicago Magazine's list of 100 best bar's as a part of the 5 best bars for music!
  • Try to avoid the comedy nights - (sorry)
  • No TVs. You'll love it.
  • The mayor is the best!!
  • Love a place that doesn't accept plastic! Mellow all the way...
  • My home away from home. I love that I know people there from being there all the time but never run into anyone from my "real life". Can't beat it!
  • Every 3rd Monday is improv!
  • My new favorite place. Jukebox is amazing, (you cubieswill hate it so don't go there and ruin it for the rest of us) you can lounge out on old mismatch furniture. (The bar of my dreams)
  • Make sure you come by for "You, Me, Them, Everybody,"with Brandon Weatherbee some Thursdays. Comedy, music, drinks.
  • Try the brain.
  • Great rum and coke!
  • It's always fucking cold! Always!
  • Jameson neats run a modest $4.50!
  • Great, cheap hard liquor
