WASHINGTON, Oct. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, Vote to End Hunger released new statements by Hillary Clinton and Donald J. Trump outlining what they would do as president to address hunger and poverty.

The statements by Clinton and Trump can be read here.

Clinton and Trump provided the statements to Vote to End Hunger after the coalition delivered the names of 631,000 voters who want to make ending hunger and poverty a top priority to both campaign's headquarters.

Vote to End Hunger is also urging the moderators for the presidential and vice-presidential debates to ask Clinton and Trump the following question: "If elected, what will you do to end hunger, alleviate poverty, and create opportunity in the U.S. and worldwide?"
