Foursquare Tips

  • Nice place to take a date ;)
  • Among the best fillet steaks I have had with an excellent wine list. Service is also excellent
  • Busy, brilliant steak restaurant - wonderful location on the river. Not cheap, but the advice is excellent and the steak justifiably famous. Don't bother with the puddings, go long on sides instead.
  • The London plane tree outside this restaurant is thought to be the tallest of its kind in the city. (It has a rival at Sutton Ecology Centre.)
  • Love the cheesy bread!
  • If you want to drink whine you should get something to eat
  • In Richmond get a table on the terrace away from the music. All the steaks are good especially if you listen to the recommended cooking time and the Malbec sorbet is wonderful.
  • Love this lovely restaurant. Amazing choices of Malbec wines.
  • The best steak I have ever had
  • Probably one of the best steak dinners I've had. Know your weights. Service pretty awesome too, it should be with 12.5% service charge added to the bill. Only accessible by foot along the towpath.
  • Great meat. Very very expensive and maybe it's not worth the huge price tag.
  • Always a great meal with excellent service
  • Great view and great food
  • Well, I am not spoiled when it comes to steaks, living in China. So I might overreact a bit when I say that this was really outstanding. 400g Lomo medium-rare. OMG.
  • Unoaked Malbec on the chilled wine list is fantastic!!
  • Strange service, strange crowd. Waiter was walking round with a palette of raw meat explaining cuts. Not too appetising. Food was good.
  • If you don't like (really really nice) steak then this restaurant is virtually useless to you.
  • Sit outside in the summer under the MASSIVE plane oak. Good cocktails and Argentinian wine.
  • . . 10 .
  • Nice looking place - well prepared and tasty food - appalling service in a place that only had two tables occupied on a Monday evening
