FranchiseGrade.com® Introduces Franchise Brand Density™ Scale. Valuable Tool for Franchisors and Franchise Investors
New York, NY (RestaurantNews.com) The new diagnostic tool will calculate the number of franchisee locations in a specific state, by franchise sector, brand and 3 year growth for total franchise systems, locations and individual franchise brands. In addition, the calculation includes franchisee terminations and ceased operations by total and individual brand. This calculation can be an indicator of the strength of a market and/or the health of the franchise systems in that market. For example, a total franchise category in one state with a 2% franchisee termination rate compared to another state with a 10% termination rate could indicate the relative strength and weakness of a market.
Jeff Lefler, founder and CEO of FranchiseGrade.com stated: “We are excited to be introducing our Brand Density Scale, since it will provide franchise stakeholders will specific intelligence pertaining to franchise activity and performance in a particular state or region.”
The BDS provides a significant benefit to prospective franchisees considering franchise opportunities, franchisors that are developing their growth strategy, businesses considering franchising their concept and Private Equity groups considering franchise investments.
Ed Teixeira, Chief Operating Officer of Franchise Grade.com, commented: “For a number of years, obtaining certain franchise industry intelligence was either non-existent or difficult to gather. With this latest development, Franchise Grade can provide detailed and specific market data that can elevate the accuracy of franchise strategies and investments. There is no one in the franchise industry that is currently providing this level of franchise intelligence. “
