  • The pulled pork plate is a MUST...can't go wrong with the sides, but the baked beans and fried okra are true southern favorites.
  • All about gut-bombs at the icon that proved great BBQ is possible in Atlanta. Tater tots covered in chili & cheese, massive short ribs, Frito pie & fried mac & cheese are staples. [Eater 38 Member]
  • The enormous beef rib packs an enormous punch. If you're able to get one (they sell out often) you can find out why it's one of CL's 100 dishes to eat before you die.
  • Frito pie...take a chance
  • Jalapeo poppers stuffed with brisket are amazing!
  • Thurs. and Sat. short rib special will pretty much change your life! Take the bone home for your doggie :)
  • Its brisket has helped make it the go-to BBQ spot within city limits.
  • Try the brisket chili as one of your side items! The Frito Pie or Fried Mac-n-Cheese are tasty apps!
  • Meat takes the spotlight at this world famous BBQ joint, but vegetarians can enjoy a terrific meal here as well. Try the griddled pimento cheese sandwich paired with one of many delicious side items.
  • Get the Brisket. Every time! Sliced, not chopped. The Fried Ribs are ridiculous when they have them. The Banana Pudding will make you never want to leave!
  • Tominator is for real
  • The beef rib s a hefty heaven, especially when it's paired with a bowl of creamy and tangy coleslaw.
  • The wings are pretty dang good. Personally, I think Steinbecks are better, but it's close! Try em both!!
  • The brisket "burger" is a revelation: brisket, pimento cheese, bacon, pickles, jalapeno mayo. DO IT NOW, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!
  • Awesome BBQ goodness. Be sure to try Brisket, Mac and Cheese along with a Frito Chili Pie.
  • As far as veggie sandwiches go, the smoked portobello sandwich one is meaty, messy fun, with its oozy pimento cheese and pickled jalapeos. Plus, it's on CL's 100 dishes to eat before you die list!
  • Beef short rib (available Thursdays) is worth the trip.
  • Get the Big Tex!
  • pulled pork... mac & cheese
  • Combo plate ribs and bracket shredded, collards, and Brunswick stew. THE BEST!!!!
