Foursquare Tips

  • Great reasonable priced cocktails. Winner of Best of NYC Critic's choice for Best Foodie Adventure: Redhook, BK.
  • Delicious brunch here. The biscuit sandwich is really good with a jalapeo jelly that makes it spicy, sweet and salty all in one sandwich.
  • Sit at the bar, make friends with the bartender and drink/eat what they tell you.
  • Without a doubt! You do the Charleston!! Trust me... It is the beat breakfast you will ever have!
  • Begin with a cool drink (made with the triple-filtered house seltzer) and an order of deviled eggs, dusted with black pepper instead of paprika, the creamy yolks piled high in Mister Softee swirls.
  • IT'S COLLINS SEASON!
  • The Monday Night Special: $12 Burger and a beer. Need I say more?
  • Try the hot apple toddy at this old-school cocktail hub it boasts a shot of amaretto and a much creamier finish than most.
  • Wonderful place. Great vibe. Good people. Huge portion of berkshire ham!
  • My wife says the deviled eggs are amazing.
  • Try the cherry-infused rum Irish coffee ($11). Aged rum and Cherry Heering, are combined with diluted espresso and freshly shaken cream for a sweet, fruity and altogether powerful reviver.
  • Welcome to Red Hook! Very quaint spot. Got there early to avoid the inevitable wait for brunch. Service is on point. French toast-amazing. The scrambled eggs were EVERYTHING! #mustgo #FortDefiance
  • Best. Deviled eggs. EVER.
  • The service sucked, why asked for sweet cocktail and got something sour, asked for tea+coffee got no spoon to stir, then didnt get a fork to eat my food. The food was okay at best also there's no heat
  • Gin fizz is outstanding! Great brunch drink.
  • Bourbon milk punch with Dutch pancake. Hell yeah!
  • Best apple Hot Tottie ever.
  • Excellent drinks made by a great bartender.
  • The Charleston is top 5 brunch items I've ever had in NYC
  • Located in the hipstery hood of red hook, this place meets something enchanting. Had the richmond and biscuit egg and they were simply fresh and delicious. Get the irish coffee for a unique treat.
