Tips

  • Skip the line at Acme and treat yourself to a tray at Felix's.
  • In the Felix v. Acme competition, I side with Felix.
  • Get your oysters at the bar. Felix's is less busy and touristy than ACME, and the oysters are just as good.
  • The char grilled oysters are definitely a must here. Even my friend who hates oysters loves them.
  • unless the oysters run out at the end of the night. oysters are always fresh and available
  • Across the street from Acme, I couldn't believe that I liked Felix's more! No extremely long line. Delicious chargrilled oysters.. Sit at the bar and have fun with the Down to earth staff.
  • Best oysters, anywhere!
  • Skip Acme. Felix's is same Hugh quality sliders & service without the noisy tourists
  • The BEST oysters I've ever eaten. Huge and mild with homemade cocktail sauce. Get them raw and chargrilled.
  • The answer is a dozen oysters and a side of jambalaya.
  • Wow. Forget Acme go to Felix's. everything is great and service is outstanding. Win.
  • Went with everyones recommendation of Charbroiled Oysters. They were amazing! A must if you're going to be in NOLA!
  • Cheapest, freshest oysters in the NOLA with surly shuckers full of character. Get a plate of grilled oysters.
  • No parking in the back :-(
  • Order the Chargrilled Oysters! Enjoy!
  • The charbroiled oysters are a go and the gumbo gets the #brooklyn #stampofapproval.
  • char-grilled oysters are to die for
  • Blackened alligator is well worth a try.
  • This is where Frenchy Broulliette and the nola mobsters ate. Skip the line at acme and belly up to the oyster bar.
  • Horrible! I have never been so mistreated by a bartender in a restaurant as I was today in Felix's Restaurant. Unfortunately I did not get the bartender's name. I am never coming back.
