'Famous Food' — Celebs Compete for Restaurant Ownership in Hollywood

Heidi Montag's new show and the celebs we'd rather watch run a restaurant

Famous Food, the new eatsy reality show premiering on VH1 this Sunday at 10 p.m., must have originated from some programming exec's personal wish to see the TV stars least fit to run a restaurant, do so. Heidi Montag, Jake the Bachelor, Real Housewife Danielle Staub, the Sopranos's Vincent Pastore, singer/call girl Ashley Dupre, and two rappers, DJ Paul and Juicy J, join their forces of good and evil (but more evil) to launch an eatery on L.A.'s Sunset Strip with the guidance of two experienced restaurant entrepreneurs. The drama-packed trailer suggests that each contestant's underlying drive to advance their precarious careers is at direct odds with working as a team to get this restaurant off the ground. If you like watching women with plastic surgery and somewhat threatening dudes get agro, this show's for you. Don't worry; Jake appears to hold down the sensitive corner.
