October still is a week out but fall fest menus are rolling out already, including Shake Shack’s 10th annual Shacktoberfest, which runs Friday (9/25) through October 4,
The limited-time menu (at all U.S. locations) is a bratfest:

Currywurst: Bratwurst topped with crispy ShackMeister Ale-marinated shallots and curry ketchup ($4.99);
Bavarian Brat: Griddled bratwurst topped with German-style slaw ($4.99);

There’s also a German Chocolate Pecan Concrete (single $4.50; double $6.75) and an Apfelstrudel Shake (Vanilla frozen custard hand-spun with apples, caramel and spices) for $5.75.
The 25-oz. Shake Shack Bier Stein returns at $10 (and $7.50 for a refill). Diners can fill it with Brooklyn Brewery’s Oktoberfest or house ShackMeister Ale
Meanwhile, Hard Rock Cafes are pairing with a different brewery partner but with the same festive idea. Its new Samuel Adams OctoberFest Schnitzel Burger went on the menu today and remains through October 31.
The build is lightly breaded tender pork schnitzel, Samuel Adams OctoberFest-infused beer cheese sauce, topped with smoked bacon, sauerkraut, whole-grain mustard and arugula; all served on a pretzel bun. The sandwich is paired with Samuel Adams OctoberFest beer and is served with seasoned fries and Samuel Adams OctoberFest-infused beer cheese.
