Tips

  • Humble atmosphere. Hands down the best mole in the city. Expect family service and truly authentic Sinaloa cuisine. Tan RICOOOO!!!
  • The burritos here are the size of your head. Come with your appetite intact. Strongly recommend the black bean soup!
  • Get the Chorizo or Veggie Nachos here. They are delicious. And if you're up for pain, try the Jalapeno Margarita, it hurts so good.
  • The mole enchiladas beat out Bario Chino and Chavela's, for real.
  • Portions are meager and food is overall bland, not what I expected from an authentic looking restaurant. The thing to go for are the pitcher margaritas- cheap and deadly.
  • Love the mole verde. Great price and great service
  • Brunch special is amazing. Struggling to finish a burrito the size of my face. And the staff is super friendly!
  • The enchilada pork tacos are delicious!
  • Best tamales within 50 blocks.
  • Home-style Mexican food. Very friendly staff, and excellent beef tongue tacos. Good for some margaritas and a filling, delicious food. Serves gargantuan portions so come hungry!
  • Pancita (spicy tripe soup) is excellent.
  • Great food and drinks!

  • Guac was meh
  • Try the pipian (roasted pumpkin seed) mole; it's rich, complex, and deeply satisfying.
  • Pancita at El Maguey y La TunaThis Lower East Side stalwart calls its spicy tripe soup the ultimate hangover cure, and we wouldnt disagreea few sips of the peppery, brick-red broth would shock a...
  • Not to be missed on Day of the Dead. They replace their usual menu with traditional DotD dishes that are out of this world
  • Chicken burrito is the best! Not on the menu, but you can still order it.
  • Not mission style burritos... Pretty unfortunate considering that's the whole reason I came here.
  • Get the beef and mashed potato taquitos.
