  • One of the first traditional Chinese gardens built outside of China. Both the garden and the adjacent Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Park are worth visiting.
  • This free park is adjacent to the classical Chinese garden, which charges an entrance fee. Both are nice, but the guided tour and authenticity of the garden make the fee worthwhile.
  • Agradable lugar para darse un respiro tranquilo y relajante.
  • Fans of Continuum must visit this place! On another note, there are two sides to the garden. I recommend going to both sides and just enjoy the scenery. The garden is perfect for photography.
  • I'd suggest taking the 45 min tour - you appreciate the grounds so much more. Also, feeding of the koi happens once a day at 11:45am from may - October so if you're there, be sure to watch it!
  • Absolutely beautiful place to relax, there are two gardens/areas side by side. One costs money, the other is free - it's worth checking both out
  • There are two ways to tour this garden, the guided tour shows you the private section and is very informative. The public section is larger and very beautiful as well.
  • Stepping into the gorgeous traditional Chinese gardens is one of our favourite and free! things to do in Vancouver.
  • No nails or screws were used in any of the gardens construction!
  • Dreamy. Get a year pass and visit whenever you feel like it. I work downtown and go there often for a little break.
  • Don't jump in the pond, it is mucho gross. Haha!
  • Open May 1-Jun 14: 9:30-5:30. Jun 15-Aug 31: 9AM-6:30PM. September: 9:30-5:30 Oct 1-Apr 30: 9:30 - 4PM.
  • Nice Chinese garden with a free and a paid side. I only saw the free side but it didn't seem that great. Worth stopping in if you're in the neighborhood. Otherwise...
  • Beautiful surprise in the hustle bustle of the city
  • the museum items are 3 times expensive than outside shopes
  • It snowed yesterday and the garden was beautiful with snow
  • Not so much to see. Beside the museum, there is a good Chinese garden to go.
  • Pretty but our experience was distracted by a random homeless man singing in the bushes
  • Beautiful picture opportunities and knowledge freiendly staff
  • Take the tour! Very informative
