Doughnuttery donuts are fun-sized because “all things are cuter in mini,” as co-founder Katie Rosenhouse says. It’s also built on her belief that dessert has a tendency to get humungous and overwhelming, but mini donuts are great anytime, whether it’s breakfast or a snack throughout the day. These bite-size treats are sold by the half-dozen or dozen, (more or less) fried to order in trans-fat free shortening to ensure each customer gets the “hottest, freshest donut possible.” Rosenhouse and partner Evan Feldman are committed to putting out a product that “looks fantastic, is really fun, and is going to taste delicious.”

The dynamic duo serve up classics like cinnamon sugar, powdered, and old-fashioned glazed, as well as twelve gourmet flavors with specialty infused sugars. Popular flavors include PBCP, a combination of peanut butter, cayenne, and pretzel; the creatively named Purple Pig — maple, purple potatoes, and bacon — as well as Paris Time, inspired by its namesake with an infusion of lavender, pistachio, and vanilla sugar. Customers can also choose from three fantastic DoughDips to dip their donuts into — pumpkin beer caramel, toffee sauce, or raspberry balsamic. (Luckily, these donuts are the perfect size to eat in three bites, so you can taste all three.) — Marilyn He, 12/3/2012

  • Fresh mini-doughnuts with creative and traditional toppings, fried to order right in front of you.
  • Watch the mini donut making conveyor machine.
  • As good they are though, I'm not sure I can recommend spending $6 on about one doughnut's worth of fried dough. They may be tasty and adorable, but they're also overpriced.
  • Strawberry and lavender specialty sugars, yum!
  • another great shop inside chelsea market! yummy mini donuts with choice of specialty sugars ;)
  • Cacaoboy - dusted with a dark mix of cocoa, cocoa nibs, black sugar, and sea salt
  • The strawberry one. Do it.
  • Get the specialty sugars so they are forced to give you fresh donuts.
  • Looove. Made to order (aka hot). Small, for easy bite-sized popping. Dusted with interesting sugars, but still super simple.
  • The Paris time doughnuts were fabulous. The flavors werent too strong- perfect blend of nutty, flowery, and the classic doughnut.
  • Mini donuts made to order. Lots of toppings to chose from. Great for a nice snack.
  • This was good stuff. We got a place similar here in CA but they dont do all the fancy sugars or glazes and stuff. I liked it.
  • Mini donuts are the perfect snack!
  • Cacaoboy and Lemon Pop.
  • If you go around closing time and they have a lot of donuts left they may toss extra donuts into your bag #notcomplaining
  • The donuts were extremely small and I couldn't really tell the differently between the two types of donuts I ordered ... But it did satisfy my donut craving for the moment.
  • Minimum of 6 for $6. 1 or 2 flavors only. Cacaoboy and Paris time are really delicious! Have them as fresh as you can.
  • Funnel cake style mini donuts. Try cacaoboy ONLY if you're a fan of dark chocolate. Bam Berry was very subtle berry flavor. Worth multiple visits
  • Must try the Coco Loco and urban monkey far the best I had from out batch.
  • Must try to Coco Loco and urban monkey!! The dough is really light heavenly ;)
