Tips

  • It's fast without being hurried, delicious without being expensive. Just be ready for crowds. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Recommended dishes: Whelk salad with buckwheat noodles, steak tartare, pancake, japchae, sablefish, DMZ stew, fried tofu, sliders, paella
  • Don't miss out on the sliders. They are out of this world, especially the pork.
  • Order the bulgogi sliders, the paella, steak tar tar, and KFC
  • The sliders are a no brainer here. Don't leave the restaurant without it!
  • Most exquisite Korean food I've tried punto. The scallion pancakes, the K.F.C chicken wings, the kimchi... ahhh so good
  • The Yellowtail sashimi with Kimchi is out of this world. The pancakes are a great surprise. And don't forget to get a Sangria.
  • Meet your new spot for NYC "Seoul Food" - this new-meets-old-school Korean small plate eatery. Bring a friend and get down on the Kimchi Bacon Fried "Paella" topped with a farmhouse egg for $16.
  • Tofu with ginger scallions was amazing. As was everything else.
  • Hooni Kim's excellent Korean small plates spot, with some dishes close to Korean classics, others with a more modern inflection.
  • Yum! Try pork belly sliders! ;-) staff are the best! ;-)
  • Honestly the most amazing food I've ever had. Can't go wrong with any dish, so choose point and choose!
  • Try the Soy Poached Sablefish with Spicy Daikon and Yu Choy! Sustainably sourced, high in omega-3s and tastes absolutely amazing.
  • The food is amazing, and check out the new Korean Pear cocktail. Delish!
  • Get the Spicy Ginger Margarita and Kimchee bacon paella (with the egg of course)
  • One Michelin star.
  • Winner of Best Use of Kimchi in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Order the kimchi fried rice, but make sure to get a jidori hen egg on top!
  • The bar has 5 cases of redrice hitanchino beer left- then more! Get some now! Then donate to the red cross!
  • Wow! Very good. Bulgogi sliders, skirt steak Korean BBQ style, and butternut squash congee are absolutely amazing
  • It's a small place with a small menu. If you don't order the bulgogi sliders then you're doing it wrong.
