- Cochon Restaurant is an upscale, meaty, cajun BBQ paradise. Don't miss the Boudin Balls, Fried Alligator, Rabbit & Dumplings, or Hey Jack cocktail. Read about my visit on WinstonWanders below!
- Must try dishes - Wood fired oysters and the fried alligator.
- I can't imagine having a bad meal here. Simply awesome.
- The smoked beef brisket was good. As was the Louisiana cochon. This place was second only to Sylvain for my favorite restaurants in New Orleans.
- This place pretends like they are way busier than they are. Don't believe the hype...
- Alligator, oysters, shirt ribs, are dope. Oh and the mac and cheese. And cochon. And rib eye pie. Oh, just get it all you cant go wrong.
- Las ostras son increbles! Las ribs estaban un poco duras para mi gusto, pero muy sabrosas. Amplia variedad de cervezas y whisky. Excelente atencin.

- Get the ribs and gumbo it's delicious
- The Elvis king cake is filled with peanut butter, banana and house-cured bacon and topped with marshmallow and traditional Mardi Gras decoration. A small pink pig replaces the baby. @Gambit
- The pig-heavy dressed-up Cajun fare at Donald Link's Cochon is among the most delicious food New Orleans has to offer.
- Oh, and if you don't have a reservation, just have dinner at the bar
