Tips

  • Didnt have a problem getting a seat with jeans and a t-shirt on...Was worried because of the previous tip.
  • If it's just two or three, order the small plates: Boudin, Roasted Oysters, Boucherie, Shrimp & Eggplant Dressing #wtf, Smothered Greens, Pork Cheeks Paneed. Dessert:Butterscotch pudding.
  • vegans: holy shiiiiiit, the chef will whip you up something amazing off menu, just ask yo server! #vegan #NOLA #fuckyeah #cochonrestaurant
  • Cochon Restaurant is an upscale, meaty, cajun BBQ paradise. Don't miss the Boudin Balls, Fried Alligator, Rabbit & Dumplings, or Hey Jack cocktail. Read about my visit on WinstonWanders below!
  • Must try dishes - Wood fired oysters and the fried alligator.
  • I can't imagine having a bad meal here. Simply awesome.
  • The smoked beef brisket was good. As was the Louisiana cochon. This place was second only to Sylvain for my favorite restaurants in New Orleans.
  • This place pretends like they are way busier than they are. Don't believe the hype...
  • Alligator, oysters, shirt ribs, are dope. Oh and the mac and cheese. And cochon. And rib eye pie. Oh, just get it all you cant go wrong.
  • Las ostras son increbles! Las ribs estaban un poco duras para mi gusto, pero muy sabrosas. Amplia variedad de cervezas y whisky. Excelente atencin.
  • Modern resto with good vibes. Service was great!
  • Amazing southern food. Good for the soul.
  • Try the mogwai - a cocktail with mescal, cold brew coffee, grapefruit juice and sugarcane syrup.
  • Fried alligator was just ok, get all pork everything
  • Get the ribs and gumbo it's delicious
  • The Elvis king cake is filled with peanut butter, banana and house-cured bacon and topped with marshmallow and traditional Mardi Gras decoration. A small pink pig replaces the baby. @Gambit
  • The pig-heavy dressed-up Cajun fare at Donald Link's Cochon is among the most delicious food New Orleans has to offer.
  • Oh, and if you don't have a reservation, just have dinner at the bar
  • Alcachofas rellenas de cangrejo!
  • Great atmosphere inside or outside al fresco. Call ahead for reservations. Food... Fantastic!
