Tips

  • On Man v Food, Adam Richman came here to pig out on their famous ribs, lamb riblets, pulled pork and chicken sandwiches.
  • Rendezvous is now proudly pouring Ghost River beer, brewed locally in Memphis, TN!
  • Get the ribs
  • Founded in 1948 by the late Charles Vergos, the Rendezvous is known for its dry ribs. The atmosphere makes it a great place to take out-of-town guests.
  • Most famous and best place to get Bar-be-que in Memphis
  • Go for the full order, you can thank me later.
  • In case you get lost the entrance is by foot on a small alley between the holiday inn and benchmark hotel at Union St. Now go Eat Some Ribs!!!
  • Made our South's Best List! If you're feeling adventurous, with 24-hours notice, you can enjoy an iron skillet filled with 5-pounds of barbecue shrimp.
  • Best ribs I've ever had. These are what heaven would taste like if heaven were a pig. Buy some Rendezvous seasoning-- it tastes great on all meat.
  • Kansas City has the best by far!!!
  • Get up, turn back around, and drive to Central BBQ on central ave in midtown. Rendezvous pales in comparision. You'll thank me.
  • This place is a little difficult to find but it smells so good! Delicious food
  • Definitely don't come here for the service! Not even close to your typical southern friendliness!
  • The best dry ribs ANYWHERE!! Anything off this menu is stellar!! Great atmosphere!! Service is amazing! Well worth the trip down the stairs to grab some amazing barbecue!!
  • Try the bbq nachos!!
  • A true Memphis staple, but not the best BBQ in the city. Worth going to if you're a tourist... Just to say you've been there! Get the meat/cheese plate. BBQ nachos good too. best slaw I've ever had
  • Remember to get BBQ nachos! Or any BBQ it's super fantastc if your a BBQ fan!!
  • The dry-rub ribs are the best anywhere.
  • Despite the location in a dark alley and the name, it's actually not a gentleman's club, they serve BBQ.
  • Eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
