Foursquare Tips

  • If you find a better breakfast in JP,I'll eat my hat.
  • One of the best brunch spots in the city, but be prepared wait in line for 30 minutes.
  • Went there for breakfast it was soooo good!
  • Local food served up just right. There is generally a line out the door for weekend brunch...do yourself a favor and wait in it!
  • Best of Boston 2016: Pasta :: Al dente ribbon of malfade slicked with lemon oil; rigatoni swimming in pork-sausage ragu; lasagna shellacked with brown-butter balsamic sauce. Get the full order.
  • Amazing atmosphere Great food too! Their chicken Parm is amazing, as well as the black garlic bucatini.
  • Best of Boston, Best Pasta 2016
  • The fried egg sandwich at brunch is fantastic.
  • Eggs Benedict
  • The Sunday brunches, particularly, are worth the long wait. dinner, dishes such as potato and mushroom stew, a Bombay curry stir-fry, and vegetables in a peanut sauce satisfy the meatless quest.
  • New favorite breakfast spot in JP! Get the "Basic Breakfast" for a nice sampling and don't forget to add cheese!
  • Several of the vegetarian dishes are actually Vegan, but the menu doesn't specify, so you have to ask.
  • Cute place with long waits. I Love the strata with arugula dish that I ordered. Very tasty, buttery but full of flavor.
  • Don't do it. Don't wait in that line. I had a cup of dirty milk for soup and a 1 inch piece of chicken with mayo and half tortilla for a wrap. The service was worse. Never even came back. Not once.
  • Get here early or be prepared to wait for freshly made breakfast. Their staff is friendly and makes sure you feel at home. They even let you come in and get a cup of coffee while you wait on line.
  • The almost hour long wait outside was not worth it. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but not mind blowing.
  • Only been here twice, but love this place! Everything from the grab your own coffee to the piles of fresh fruit.
  • A JP institution, Centre Street Cafe has a line out the door every weekend during brunch hours. Dinner is quieter (no cells allowed), but the food is just as delicious and creative.
  • Best pancakes ever
  • There is almost a line waiting outside, that's always a good indicator! Great ambience, friendly staff and large portions. Come early, almost everything is great!
