Foursquare Tips

  • One of my top 3 places. Very simple and delicious and the soups can be amazing. A great comforting place to have some delicious eats outside of downtown. To be clear, best onion soup in the cities.
  • Mussels in a cream sauce and short ribs with Brussels and fall foods done perfect!
  • The service is great and the food is amazing!
  • Great Service
  • Chicken, short ribs
  • Reborn from the ashes of former fine-dining standard-bearer Restaurant Levain, Caf Levain is a T-shirt casual, safe and sound little French-oriented bistro, with the emphasis on safe and sound.
  • Authentic French service. Rude and slow. Even though the food wasn't bad.
  • Get the mussels. The duck breast and the burger were delicious. If you have a large party, ask to get seated in the back room.
  • Everything is a sensual delight and service was very good.
  • An incredible find... The onion soup is amazing!
  • A+ service! Try the Sunday night tasting menu- $25 or $20 for vegetarians.
  • On Mpls St Paul's list of Insider Eats for elegant plates with everyday ingredients and garden produce
  • Just go in and tell the server to have Adam surprise you. It's one of the most fun places to eat that way in the Twin Cities.
  • The mussels are divine!
  • Try their burger if it on the menu that night. like ground siroin simmered in sauteed onion and served on a bun...
