Tips

  • don't be an idiot. pre order your tickets!
  • Go out and hear live music! Who cares who is playing, you just might be surprised!
  • Cuz Ramona & co. rock. (Note: she's the longtime owner/booker there and has been great to us. This is where we showcased for Wind-up)
  • This is the bar where the hottest guys in the city go. Yow Yow!
  • It's the place where your friend's band always plays and even though you go to all of their shows, he'll be pissed if you miss even one, so you totally know the routine by now.
  • Secret rooftop hot tub is cool, but it seemed kind of dirty. :-/
  • Cash only bar.
  • SF Weeklys Best Of 2011 Winner Editorial Pick BEST ROCK CLUBAsk bands from around the world what venue they're most excited to play in any city chances are you'll hear Bottom of the Hill
  • Bands - don't smoke weed in the dressing room.
  • Cash only, did you hear?
  • see your faves before they blow up & pack the big, snooty venues, hang out back, check out the wall of calendars past + all the old noise pop posters, order a whiskey & tip those beautiful bartenders!
  • Featuring up and coming acts from around the globe as well as in our own backyard, the music spans the spectrum from alternative, rock-a-billy, punk, and hard rock, to folk and funk and pop.
  • Out-of-the-way, but easy to find just look for the off-kilter neon sign attached to the blue wood-framed house. Inside is crammed with fans feasting on the up-and-coming bands, 7 nights a week.
  • This venue is filled with ecclectic bands - live, raw, loud and as if you are in someone's garage.
  • WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE HERE ON FOURSQUARE
  • Lucas merch man
  • Top sf venue for emerging bands. Patio area is nice to hang out around between sets!
  • See up and comers in this fun little club. Bonus points for the ample amount of free parking in the nearby area.
  • The place to see great bands for cheap in a small space.
  • Be careful. No ins OR outs here. I got in okay, but I'm fearful of how or if I'll get out.
