Say Roberta's is in the new class of restaurants that has fanned the flames of the Brooklyn vs. Manhattan debate, call it a great pizza joint, recall it as a frontrunner of the city's rooftop garden movement, and mention that Carlo Mirarchi was named a Best New Chef by Food & Wine, and you'd still be selling it short. Roberta's is in Bushwick, six stops out of Manhattan on the L, and it's one of the city's best restaurants. Roberta’s Neapolitan pies are at the high end of the debate about which are the city's best, and pizza, tremendous pastas (cavatelli with oxtail, horseradish, and celery), and magnificently-prepared mains like wagyu flank steak with freekah and salsa verde aren’t even the point. You’re going to want to score one of the 12 seats at Blanca, the hard-to-reserve, 25-course (or more) tasting menu spot squirreled away in a separate building behind the complex’s main dining room. The cuisine? It’s an indulgent turn through Mirarchi’s culinary mind. At turns a bite of raw fish will tempt you to compare to the best bite of omakase you’ve ever had, a thin slice of beautifully-marbled, duck egg yolk-dressed beef carpaccio that looks like it’s from your favorite steakhouse, and in between incredibly delicious pasta courses.

  • Definitely get he wine pairing. The sommelier is a genius. Not only is this the best chef's tasting & wine pairing on Earth, but the chef & staff are all so lovely.
  • Blanca, winner of the Best Big-Pimpin' Brooklyn award, serves some of New Yorks priciest high-concept cooking to just 12 flush diners a night in 20-odd courses of tweezer-plated perfection.
  • A thoroughly joyful experience. Courses are inventive and delicious. Keep your fingers crossed that a goat is somewhere in the mix..
  • It is pricey, but you're already ballin out by being there, so might as well grab the pairing as well. And if you want to be real crazy, grab some pizza at Roberta's after.
  • Easily one of the best meals of my life. Staff was super helpful. The substitutes that were made were possibly better than the actual menu items! Guests are free to change music on the record player.
  • Meticulously crafted Food served with perfection. Pair it with wine and you will be transported to heaven. The whole experience was beyond amazing. Come with an appetite and an open mind.
  • Open to only 12 diners per night, this spot is extremely difficult to get into. Once you snag a reservation, you'll be rewarded with an incredible 20+ course tasting menu. The pastas are all divine.
  • Note: The multicourse sake, beer, and wine pairing costs $85, but if you tell the friendly drinks staff that youre driving home, theyll pour sips for $45.
  • Meal was amazing, but the beverage tasting menu was the icing on the cake. Also, the bathroom is probably the best restaurant bathroom that Ive used.
  • More people need to talk about the fact that beyond the exceptional meal, theres a Japanese toilet and Byredo products in the restroom.
  • Two Michelin Stars.
  • A stellar meal, but 2 things to consider: AC can get cold, so come prepared; they dont have nonalcoholic drinks besides soda, but they accommodated us with a mocktail from Robertas upon request.
  • Definitely an experience. I was there for New Years eve, the price was higher than usual bc of that probably and also they had a guest chef from clown bar in Paris. The night went great
  • Beautiful experience where a dedicated team (including Carlo Mirarchi) prepares the meal in front of you. Only 12 counter seats available for this 20 course meal. Distinct Roberta's/Italian-influence!
  • Don't miss the toilet!
  • Put yourself in the hands of the very talented kitchen staff for 20 courses.
  • Tasting and wine pairing is incredible!!!
  • The best meal you will ever have in Bushwick, hands down. But while also drinking the best wine and listening to Blondie's 'Parallel Lines' ON VINYL. Basically, blew Jean George's away...#bushwick
  • The record collection is pretty great, maybe they'll even let you pick
  • You are seated at the bar with a view of the kitchen to watch your next dish being prepared from seasonal ingredients while you sip on perfectly paired wines. Time and money well-spent!
